About Idaho Philanthropy Day

Idaho Philanthropy Day is celebrated statewide during the month of November to recognize the amazing philanthropic work of nonprofit organizations, foundations, businesses, and individuals nominated by their peers. The awards encompass the spirit of philanthropy including, time, talent, treasure, and involvement in the community.

The program is run and organized by the Idaho Nonprofit Center and the Idaho Community Foundation with support by Serve Idaho, the Governor’s Commission on Service and Volunteerism and our many sponsors.

  • Talented Volunteer Manager: An individual (21 years or older) who has demonstrated exemplary leadership and management of volunteers or has gone above and beyond to mobilize volunteers to meet a new or urgent need in their community.
  • *Treasured Adult Philanthropist: An individual (21 years or older) who has demonstrated exceptional leadership in philanthropic giving efforts and/or projects benefiting charitable organizations or has gone above and beyond to meet a new or emerging need in the community.
